Do cancelled bookings still owe APC?
Yes. Genuine cancellations still owe APC. They stay in Part A and the APC total, but drop out of Part B and Part C, because nobody travels.
What is the difference between Part A, Part B and Part C?
Part A is everything issued in the period. Part B and Part C narrow to what actually travels and how it is protected. The assistant explains where a given booking lands, and why, so a return reads the way the CAA expects.
How should backdated certificates be handled?
Issue times in MyATOL are set by the server, so a certificate cannot be backdated. A certificate created late for an already-filed period is flagged. The assistant points you to what to check and where the change shows up.
